Keep it on this device.

Choose Continue as guest if you do not want to create an account or sync a journal. Guest records remain on that device. Scanning and AI name lookups are separate online features and transmit the framed image or typed name for recognition.

Signing out stops future account sync from that session; it does not delete the cloud account or previously synced information. Use account deletion for that purpose.

Location and notifications.

In Profile & settings, turn Save location or Reminders on or off. Your phone's app-permission settings provide another control. You can grant approximate rather than precise location where supported. Turning off location affects future captures; existing synced locations stay with their records until the records or account are deleted.

Revoking a notification permission prevents delivered reminders, but you can still open a review in the journal. The app does not need continuous background location tracking.

Access, correction and deletion.

To request a copy or correction of account information, ask a privacy question, or exercise a privacy right that applies where you live, contact us from your account email. We verify ownership before sharing private information or changing an account.
